Ivana Radojicic joined the Out of the Box team as a Project Officer, bringing several years of experience in international cooperation, youth work, and project coordination across Europe and the Western Balkans.
Her professional background is rooted in working with NGOs, networks, and international partners on projects focused on social inclusion, youth participation, youth work, gender issues, environmental issues, animal rights, art and culture. Throughout her career, Ivana has been particularly motivated by initiatives that connect organisations, empower young people, and translate project ideas into practical tools with real impact.
Alongside her professional work, Ivana is an active animal rights activist. In Serbia, she was directly involved in advocacy efforts aimed at improving the protection and living conditions of animals, including leading campaigns for better animal welfare standards and raising public awareness on the responsible treatment of animals. This activism reflects her strong commitment to social responsibility, empathy, and systemic change.
Ivana decided to join the Out of the Box team because of its strong values, its focus on meaningful European cooperation, and its role as an umbrella organisation that connects diverse stakeholders across countries and sectors. She was especially drawn to OTB’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and creating long-term impact beyond individual projects.
Relocating to the south of Portugal was both a professional and personal decision. Having previously worked and lived in the Algarve, Ivana felt a strong connection to the region’s openness, intercultural environment, and slower but intentional way of life. The Algarve offered the space to grow professionally while staying closely connected to local communities and international networks.
At Out of the Box, Ivana is excited to contribute to the development, coordination, and sustainability of projects that support organisations, educators, and communities across Europe.
