OTB Europe is proud to present the annual activity report for 2025!
2025 was an important year of consolidation and clarity for OTB Europe. From our office in Faro, we continued to strengthen a project portfolio that is both practical and European in scope, connecting local realities with wider partnerships and long-term social relevance. What gives me particular satisfaction is that
our work in Portugal was not defined by scale alone, but by coherence. Across the year, we contributed to projects that, although different in topic, were closely connected by a shared purpose: making communities more inclusive, resilient, skilled, and future-oriented.
Our 2025 portfolio showed that OTB Europe has developed a distinctive role within European cooperation. We worked on climate adaptation and circular economy, on sustainable tourism and service learning, on volunteering and refugee inclusion, on disability participation and accessible entrepreneurship, and on digital
well-being in response to increasingly complex online realities. These are not isolated fields. They are interconnected questions about how people participate, how communities adapt, and how Europe can become more responsive to social change.
I am also proud of the team behind this work. OTB Europe continues to grow as a trusted partner thanks to the commitment, flexibility, and professionalism of colleagues who ensure that projects move from ideas to delivery. In a competitive and often demanding European funding environment, this reliability matters.
Looking ahead, the next year should be about deepening quality and relevance. We want to further strengthen OTB Europe as a Portugal-based hub for European projects with strong added value in sustainability, inclusion, education, digital resilience, and community participation. We also aim to build
stronger links with municipalities, educational actors, and civil society partners, particularly where European cooperation can generate practical local impact. Our direction is not to do more for the sake of volume, but to do better, more strategically, and with partnerships that share our values.
OTB Europe enters the next phase with a solid base, a credible network, and a portfolio that reflects both ambition and responsibility. That gives us confidence for what comes next!
