The Circular Transition project aims to support the shift towards a more sustainable and resource-efficient construction sector by promoting circular economy principles in building practices. Through transnational cooperation, the project focuses on developing innovative training models, strengthening stakeholder capacities, and fostering collaboration across the construction value chain to enable the practical implementation of circular solutions at local, regional, and European levels.
On 2-3 March 2026, partners of the project gathered in Toulon for a two-day transnational meeting hosted by partner organisation Petra Patrimonia. The meeting brought together consortium members to review progress, align on next steps, and strengthen collaboration across work packages.
The meeting provided an opportunity for partners to review overall project progress, discuss ongoing activities, and ensure alignment on upcoming phases of implementation. Particular attention was given to strengthening coordination mechanisms and maintaining a shared understanding of project objectives and expected results.
In addition, partners engaged in collaborative discussions on the development of key project outputs, including training-related activities and future deliverables. These exchanges supported the consolidation of common approaches, timelines, and responsibilities across the partnership.
The meeting concluded with a review of the project calendar, clear allocation of responsibilities, and agreement on upcoming actions, reinforcing the consortium’s commitment to advancing circular economy practices in the construction sector.
