
On the 16th of October, OTB Europe was invited to contribute to a European Parliament panel presenting the national and European findings on the state of service-learning in primary schools (SLIPS). The session was facilitated by Marko Paunović (Project Manager – OTBE) and included contributions from Tenna Sørensen (Project Officer – CEV), Martina Potlimbrzović (Associate Expert – CVDC) and Filipa Cabral (Project Coordinator, OTBE).
Tenna Sørensen, the Project Officer from the Centre for European Volunteering, opened the panel with a short presentation of the SLIPS project. Filipa, representing OTBE, followed with the key national and European findings on service-learning in primary schools. Martina then presented the Teacher Training Programme for service-learning. To close the session, Tenna returned with the Policy Statement on Volunteering and Service-Learning.
