We are excited to share updates on the recent SLIPS project information sessions that took place in October. These sessions were designed to engage and inform our key targets, providing an overview of the project, its objectives, and the exciting events to come.
1st SLIPS Info Session – October 7th
On October 7th, OTB Europe hosted the first SLIPS information session online, which was attended by 13 enthusiastic primary school teachers. The session focused on introducing the project and gathering input from educators who will be instrumental in its success. In the session the project objectives were presented, and the target groups and upcoming events were mentioned. The session also provided an opportunity for an open discussion and brainstorming, where teachers shared their thoughts on the project and Service Learning approaches.
2nd SLIPS Info Session – October 11th
The second info session, held on October 11th in the public library of Faro, brought together over 40 participants from various Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), highlighting the growing interest and engagement around the SLIPS project. In the session the project objectives were presented, and the target groups and upcoming events were mentioned. The session created a platform for open discussion and collaborative brainstorming. Participants actively contributed to a rich exchange of ideas on Service Learning, offering creative insights that will help shape the future direction of the project.
We are thrilled by the participation and ideas shared during these sessions, and we look forward to further collaboration as we continue to develop the SLIPS project.
