On 28 January 2026, project partners met in Faro, Portugal, for a Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) for the project Virtual Feels Real, organised in a hybrid format (in person and online). The meeting was hosted at the ANJE office in Faro.
Partners attending in person included Descomunal (Portugal) and OTB Europe (Portugal), Connect International (Belgium), while Libero (Serbia) joined online.
Project Virtual Feels Real focuses on strengthening digital education and online safety for migrants and people from minority backgrounds. The project aims to empower adult educators working in non-profit organisations and public social services by providing them with educational models, learning modules, and digital tools to prevent and address online violence, abuse, discrimination, and digital negligence. A strong emphasis is placed on peer learning, exchange of best practices across Europe, and the dissemination of results to improve both professional practice and policy frameworks in the field of digital protection.
The TPM focused on coordinating the next project steps, including the needs analysis report, development of the online platform, T-KIT preparation, upcoming trainings in Portugal and Serbia, as well as dissemination activities and project management matters. Clear timelines, responsibilities, and key milestones were agreed upon to ensure smooth implementation in the coming months.
The meeting also provided a valuable opportunity to meet in person, to strengthen collaboration among partners and to align expectations for the next project phase.
